One in ten Brits have made love to keep warm
Brits across the UK are trying everything they can to avoid putting the heating on with one in ten (10%) saying they have made love to keep warm, according to new research by Hometree, the online boiler installation company.
‘Temperature Tantrums’ over the heating as the colder months roll in
According to a recent Hometree consumer study, Generation Z (those born in 1996 onwards) are twice as likely to have a temperature tantrum than over 55s. Our findings indicate that two thirds (66%) of 16-24s say they have argued over when to turn the heating on at home compared to a third of over 55s.
Throw-away Brits needlessly upgrade tech products, except boilers
In our fast-paced world where innovative products are constantly being launched, new research from Hometree has found that the majority of Brits admitted they have upgraded a product just for the sake of it, even it was still in good working order. In a survey of over 2,000 UK adults, three in five (59%) admitted to upgrading a product needlessly. Of these people 35% said they just ‘fancied a change’, and 19% because they found a model that looked better.
